Hey there fashionista, let's start this out with the good ol' introduction. My name is Gilberto Gomez and I'm a senior at duPont Manual High School. Our fashion interest obviously brings us together, and my love sprung from an early age. I was raised by my mother for most of my childhood due to my dad's job and she happens to suffer from a shopping addiction (not literally!). She would always take me with her whenever she went shopping and ask me if something was too tight or too ugly, so I began to develop a love for the prints, silhouettes, colors and the way clothing can make one feel so confident and/or express personality. Fashion inspires me, and I couldn't picture myself doing anything else. Therefore, I'm going to pursue a styling career in NYC next year. While everyone else applies for scholarships, I'll be organizing my portfolio to hit the city. I'm very much determined if you couldn't already tell. So I'll take this little URL with me along with any readers, who are interested in seeing me achieve my American dream.
