So after much hesitation, I started my portfolio on the 8th of January. It was so much fun, specially with my best friend helping me out. I figured that going through her closet I could find many trendy pieces, so searching I did. After a couple of hours and many piles of clothing. I came up with this:
- Dark blue v-neck- Forever 21
- Bracelet & Ring- Forever 21
- Tight black shorts- Target
- Acid wash denim jacket- Forever 21
- Black strap heels- BCBGeneration
The v-neck and shorts are hard to distinguish in this Photoshop fiasco I created, but I had to give my model & best friend some gratification. I decided to go with a spring look, simple yet chic and the v-neck is a face of spring wear. On top of the simplicity of the shorts and tee I threw on an acid wash denim jacket, which has come back along with the rest of the 80's. The jacket gives a very street cool to the look. Saving the best for last (for us shoe junkies), BCBG sandal heels. The fact that they're black, simple and elegant makes it easy to throw with any darks and whites for a more glamed-up look.
